Duartek has been in business since 1987. We are proud of our reputation as the most experienced company in the design and installation of accessible sound systems for people with a hearing loss in the Washington DC Metropolitan Area. 

  We specialize in engineered A/V systems and solutions to provide effective sound and communications access using custom solutions that include high quality HEARING LOOPS as well as FM and IR systems.

All Duartek engineered hearing loops comply with the IEC Standard 60118-4. These standards ensure that all our hearing loops have strong and even signal coverage. Our courtesy site assessments also ensure that there is very minimal or no electromagnetic (EMF) interference that could potentially impair the use of telecoil equipped hearing aids and cochlear implants.

Our custom engineered solutions focus on the needs of people who have difficulty hearing including hearing aid users as well as cochlear implant users. We build and expand on that specific need for auditory access and use that as a baseline requirement to develop complex audio system and multimedia solutions.
